I went out and bought some glass yesterday. And I’m going to end up going back and buying more this week, too, because my local glass shop is getting in some new stock later this week. What an expensive addiction this is! The florals here were made using vetrofond black, encased with vetrofond clear, [...] “Snorkeling in Blue Waters” This was created using effetre 034 light aquamarine, 223 mosaic green, 204 white, and vetrofond odd ocean green (which is actually that sky blue colour… so pretty!). The mosaic green is cool, it spreads out around everything it touches (as you can sort of see how it spread around the [...] Staring to get the hang of it! They are actually really fun to make. The colour forum is going great. Lots of people have joined and are contributing, which makes me super excited about it as a project overall. So far I’ve added all the Effetre/Moretti colours, the CiM and DH colours, Bullseye’s colours, the [...] More buttons. The shape is getting a bit better, but the holes are still a bit too rough. The orangey colour is vetrofond odd lot orange punch… the dark colour is CiM simply berry but it isn’t showing up especially well. I think it’s quite a dark transparent purple and might look better overtop [...] I feel like I’m finally getting these to the point where I am ready to sell them. It’s funny how some colours seem to “work” better than others, though. Some yellows seem to distort more, as do reds and oranges. The more yellowy greens also do; darker greens seem pretty good.
