Well, I got through my final exams. It was a pretty stressful few weeks. I didn’t get a lot of beadmaking in (although I did get out to my torch a few times, just to try to relax a little!) In my exams, I always made sure to wear a few of my beads (usually [...]
I have been using the rainbow colours lately, I have two sets to show today, and a few more coming in the next little while! I guess it’s because spring/summer is coming and I’m really starting to crave the bright colours.

Today I have some purple things to share. Purple is probably one of my favorite colours, in all of its varieties.
This set has Creation is Messy Simply Berry (one of my favorite transparent purples), in all the beads – the plain purple rounds are pure Simply Berry. I used Vetrofond Seashell [...]
These past few days it has been disc beads.
Tropical Coral Discs – made with Vetrofond Odd Orange Sherbet and Vetrofond Odd Jupiter (the orange sherbet is the lighter beads… the Jupiter actually looks so pretty when made into discs… I never liked it much until I tried it in disc form)
I used a lot of different glasses in this set. Let’s see… I started with a base of moretti/effetre light purple transparent. Then I did a layer of vetrofond odd seashell swirl. Then, a bit of CiM thai orchid and CiM simply berry overtop… followed by some CiM cirrus frit, and some silvered ivory [...]

We are doing three craft shows this weekend! My mom and I are splitting up on Saturday to do one each, and on Sunday we are doing one together. So last night I made some more pendants to sell, and a few more goddess beads.
CiM Lapis goddess
428 red orange goddess
Silver pink goddess with thai orchid hair.
Thai orchid goddess.
Dark ivory base with ivory and intense black shards. I’m not sure if these are interesting or fugly.. but I think they have potential!
A clear base with CiM leaky pen overtop, and then white/leaky pen dots
Implosion pendants with CiM thai orchid
Implosion pendant with CiM Lapis… very pretty colour but I just didn’t quite implode it enough
CiM leaky pen on dark ivory… very reactive, a bit too muddy in my opinion
