CiM Thai Orchid spacers

Purples spacers

The opaque purple is CiM Thai Orchid, the pinky lighter purple is CiM Heffalump, the lighter transparent purple is Moretti 046 Transparent Pale Purple, the darker transparent purple is CiM Simply Berry.

The darker froggy is CiM Thai Orchid; the lighter one is CiM Heffalump.

Spring Flowers
CiM Thai Orchid over Moretti 204 Pastel White for the raised flowers; these beads are etched. Thai orchid came out to an amazing soft purple when etched.

Implosion pendants with CiM Thai Orchid

Moretti 276 Pastel Dark Ivory, CiM Thai Orchid, CiM Bordello frit, silvered ivory stringer, and Moretti 044 Transparent Dark Purple. The bordello frit seems to react on the thai orchid… it looks great on the ivory, too. It’s not so much reactive on the ivory. The silvered ivory stringer is what makes the ivory look all mottled I think. The spacers are Moretti 044 Transparent Dark Purple and CiM Thai Orchid.

Same colours as the above, except there is also some Moretti 040 Transparent Light Purple in there (and that’s what the spacers are made of).

From left to right, the focal is CiM Thai Orchid, Moretti 040 Transparent Light Purple, CiM Simply Berry, and Moretti 276 Pastel Dark Ivory. There is some silvered ivory stringer on the dark ivory. The spacers are CiM Simply Berry. I was worried that the simply berry would be too dark on its own, but it’s actually really pretty. It looks good layered over ivory as well.

From left to right, the focal is Moretti 040 Transparent Light Purple with a bit of CiM Thai Orchid over top, then Moretti 276 Pastel Dark Ivory with CiM Simply Berry and CiM Thai Orchid over top. There is some random silvered ivory stringer all over this bead. The spacer beads are CiM Thai Orchid.

From bottom to top, Moretti 040 Transparent Light Purple, CiM Thai Orchid, Moretti 276 Pastel Dark Ivory, CiM Thai Orchid, and CiM Simply Berry. I think there is some silvered ivory stringer in this one, too. The spacers are Moretti 276 Pastel Dark Ivory with CiM Simply Berry over top.

I used a lot of different glasses in this set. Let’s see… I started with a base of Moretti 040 Transparent Light Purple. Then I did a layer of Vetrofond 955 Seashell Swirl Special Odd. Then, a bit of CiM Thai Orchid and CiM Simply Berry overtop… followed by some CiM Cirrus frit, and some silvered ivory stringer. Whew! The light coloured rounds have all the above except the CiM Thai Orchid and CiM Simply Berry. The darker small rounds are just CiM Thai Orchid.

I used Moretti 275 Dark Silver Plum for the bumps on these bumpy beads. The base colours are CiM Thai Orchid and Moretti 256 Special Gold/Ruby (Rubino Oro).
