CiM Bordello spacers.
CiM Bordello, Moretti 264 Pastel Ivory, CiM Bordello frit.
CiM Bordello Rounds (the lighter ones were struck slightly less than the darker – this glass becomes more fully red as it is struck)
Spacers in CiM Bordello, Moretti 264 Pastel Ivory and Moretti 064 Transparent Black

Moretti 276 Pastel Dark Ivory, CiM Thai Orchid, CiM Bordello frit, silvered ivory stringer, and Moretti 044 Transparent Dark Purple. The bordello frit seems to react on the thai orchid… it looks great on the ivory, too. It’s not so much reactive on the ivory. The silvered ivory stringer is what makes the ivory look all mottled I think. The spacers are dark purple and CiM Thai Orchid.

Same colours as the above, except there is also some Moretti 040 Transparent Light Purple in there (and that’s what the spacers are made of).

Moretti 276 Pastel Dark Ivory base. Moretti 044 Transparent Dark Purple, CiM Thai Orchid, CiM Bordello frit, and silvered ivory stringer.

Some lentils with basically the above combination of glass.

Lentil with Moretti 276 Pastel Dark Ivory, CiM Bordello frit, did a swirl in the middle, and finished with a few Moretti 064 Transparent Black raised dots.

This glass definitely needs to be struck! The bead on the left is struck, the one on the right is not. This means letting the bead cool until basically not glowing anymore, then put it back in the flame for a few seconds/few turns.

Here is another lentil, this one I used gold leaf on. Man gold leaf is a pain in the ass to work with. When I use silver, I use foil, which is much thicker than leaf. With gold leaf, you breathe too hard and its gone. I burnt the gold in pretty good here, and it seems to give almost an antique kind of effect. The rest of this bead was Moretti 276 Pastel Dark Ivory with CiM Bordello frit.

Since I still had some frit sitting out on my table, I made a few implosion pendants. I don’t really like putting frit back in the bag once I’ve had it out, so this is a good way to clean up my workspace! I am starting to get the hang of implosion pendants I think. I’m not sure that bordello is the best colour for implosions because it is fairly translucent, but these still look quite neat.
