Royal Ballet

Pairing Raku with a chorus of pinks ranging from super soft to super intense, this one is a show stopper. Avoid overheating to preserve the tonal range of the pinks.

Amy’s Notes: This frit blend is absolutely gorgeous and so incredibly versatile that there are what feels like about a billion combinations I would like to try it with still. The pinks and purples are amazingly vibrant, and the raku creates interesting organic reactions that really bring diversity of application to this blend. You will have SO much fun experimenting with this one. There were a few glasses it didn’t play nicely with – mostly the opaque yellows and greens, and it was a bit muddy on ivory as is usual for frits with pinks – but overall, it worked very well with everything I tested it with. It encased well with Lauscha also, and worked well with silver foil too (the silver foil brought out some wonderful gold tones). Love love love! Here are my results:

And finally, here are my paddle tests of this blend. It doesn’t demonstrate the 104 palette in full by any means, but gives a pretty good idea of how the blend reacts with a variety of colours.
